The vision of the Rubbertown Community Advisory Council is to develop mutual trust between participating chemical companies and the surrounding community, and to improve the overall well-being of the area. The group, including managers and representatives from eleven member companies, meets monthly on the second Thursday evening with community members to discuss issues of common interest.  Member companies include American Synthetic Rubber Company, Bakelite Synthetics, Carbide Industries Inc., The Chemours Company, Dow Chemical, DuPont, Eckart America, Lubrizol, MSD, Trinseo, and Zeon Chemicals LP.  RCAC meetings on the second Thursday of each month at varying locations in the Rubbertown area.  All meetings are open to the public.
